Membership Fees, Penalties, & Referrals
Membership Plans & Fees
The cost of an annual Theater Extras membership is:
- Marquis Plan (2 tickets): $99 per year
- Premier Plan (4 tickets): $198 per year
Members may attend as many different performances, productions or events as they wish throughout the year. However, members may attend each show only once. If you would like to attend a production more than once, please email info@theaterextras.com for approval.
Ticket quantities cannot be split across multiple performances. For example:
- A two-ticket plan allows up to two tickets for a single performance.
- You may not use a two-ticket plan to attend two different performances separately with one ticket each.
Service Fees
For each ticket reserved, members are required to pay a $6.00 per-ticket service fee. These fees are non-refundable, unless a show is canceled.
On occasion, discounted tickets may be offered for select sporting events. The posted discount price includes the Theater Extras processing fee. These fees are non-refundable; so sports tickets are the exception to our rule and may be transferred to another party.
Missed Tickets & Cancellation Penalties
- Members who fail to pick up tickets will not receive a refund and will be charged a $25.00 penalty per ticket.
- Cancellations made less than 7 hours before showtime will incur a $15.00 per-ticket penalty.
- Cancellations made within 3 hours of curtain time will incur a $20.00 per-ticket penalty.
Additional Ticket Requests
If you would like more tickets than your membership plan allows, please email info@theaterextras.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Money-Back Guarantee
Theater Extras offers a 20-day money-back guarantee from the date of registration. To cancel your membership, you must email membership@theaterextras.com.
- Cancellations within the guarantee period receive a full refund minus a $25.00 cancellation fee
- The guarantee applies only if the service has not been used
Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Memberships automatically renew on the anniversary date, and the appropriate fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Members may cancel renewal at any time prior to the renewal date by:
- Emailing membership@theaterextras.com, or
- Logging into My Account → Membership → Turn Off Auto Renew
Membership Upgrades
Members may upgrade from the Marquis (2-ticket) plan to the Premier (4-ticket) plan at any time. To upgrade:
- Log in to your account.
- Hover your mouse over My Account at the top of the site to get a drop-down menu.
- Select Membership to manage your plan.
- Click Upgrade Now in the Premier plan section
Upgrade fees are prorated based on the time remaining until your renewal date.
Introductory Offers
Introductory offers may be available for first-time members from time to time. These offers cannot be applied toward membership renewal.
Important Email Communications
To ensure you receive all reservation confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, and event alerts, we strongly recommend adding the following addresses to your email contacts or whitelist:
Referral Program
Refer a friend to Theater Extras and receive a $24.00 account credit for each successful referral. This credit can be applied toward future ticket service fees.
To receive referral credit, your referral must enter your email address in the referral box on the join page before completing their registration.
